Remember that time that model and Warrant‘s “Cherry Pie” video star Bobbie Brown served up a slice to Leonardo DiCaprio?
Me neither, but that’s a thing that happen.
She talks about it in her new tell-all book “Dirty Rocker Boys: Love And Lust On The Sunset Strip“, and with me….this morning.
Check out the interview below, and relive her glory days.
A couple of years ago as I was transitioning into a new phase of my career, I created MetroRadioShow.com. In the time since it has served as a place to share with you some of my favorite things including the “Metro And Gordon Do The Internet“ podcast, the Phillies show “From The Phans“, my thoughts on music, and generally anything weird I thought you might enjoy.
In fact, the most popular post remains this video of people walking into stuff, because none of us are as smart as we think.
At this point we have reached our 500th post and I can not thank you enough for your time and attention. If I could hug each of you I would. Even the sweaty ones in the Pantera Hockey jerseys.
One of the cornerstones of this site has always been interviews, and there has been a lot. Authors, actors, bands, and everything in between. At least I thought…
It seems fitting that today our 500th post is an interview with Boomer The Dog. Boomer is not like any other dog, mostly because he’s not a dog. He is a 48 year old man from Pittsburgh. Wrap your ears around that one.
Check it out below, and sincerely, thank you.

Happy Jawbone Family Band is a fantastic assembly of weird from Vermont. They play upbeat pop songs with the same throwback jangle of Dr. Dog and Edward Sharpe, yet trade in their lyrics and imagery for something far less linear.
For example check out the song ”I Have To Speak With Rocky Balboa” where they sing about “snakes in the fridge” or “lions on the beach“. Or, perhaps “Stay-at-Home Soldier” that boasts “The city I live in lays covered in cream and ladies walk on crackers.”
They are rooted in a universe slightly different than our own, yet manage to craft shiny pop gems that have the charm of a backyard party with friends.
On Saturday November 16th Happy Jawbone Family Band brings their brand of party to Kung Fu Necktie in Philadelphia. I spoke with their leader Luke Csehak this morning about the “family”, New England restaurants, and his issues with Rocky Balboa.
Buy tickets to see the show HERE, and check out the interview below.

What can you say about Bob Benson? He came into our world, touched a knee, and led us all into a dark cave of mystery. A cave with short shorts and motivational records.
James Wolk brought Bob Benson to life this season, and has kept himself busy with a role on ‘The Crazy Ones’ starring Robin Williams. In it Wolk is far less elusive, much funnier, and way more into ”the ladies”.
Last week I had a chance to speak with him about the show, but really used it as an opportunity to work him for Mad Men secrets. We talked a lot about Pete Campbell‘s knee, and the possibilities of Bob Benson’s return.
I suggest you all treat yo self, and head to Netflix today for the debut of Aziz Ansari‘s new special “Buried Alive“.
This morning I had a few minutes to talk with him about filming in Philadelphia, Kanye West, and the future of “Parks And Rec“.
It’s a “unique perspective on what it means to be American”
